positive mind
Positive Mind is an 8-week course in Mindfulness and Positive Psychology with a focus on experiential learning and creative expression.

We practice meditation, mindfulness, and creative positive psychology exercises. We study the thinking brain and ask the question: why does it act like that all the time?
The intention of the course is to build more beneficial habits and to cultivate above all else a deeper sense of self-compassion and contentment in our day to day lives.

This course will be particularly effective for anyone struggling with anxiety and stress.

There are currently two variations of this course. Both are available as in-person groups or online.
Positive Mind for Young Adults
PMfYA is for young people aged between 18-19 years old, finished with secondary education and ready to embark in the world of work or further study.
The course content and exercises will be altered to engage with the particular challenges facing young people today – namely, a perfectly reasonable fear for their future, and how they will manage to operate in an increasingly squeezed, challenging environment.
This course is also tailored to accommodate students with ADHD tendencies, and so would be an effective complement to traditional care solutions in that regard.

Positive Mind for Adults
PMfA is for anyone over the age of 21 who would like to engage with the Positive Mind curriculum. Outcomes include:

-
Reducing stress and anxiety
-
Creating a more positive sense of self
